Wheel hub
Hub (sleeve) of the bicycle wheel (rotates around a fixed axis)
The hub [1] [2] is generally the central part of a rotating part with a hole ( flywheel , pulley , gear , etc.) for fitting onto a shaft or axle. The hub bore typically has a keyway or spline profile for transmitting torque. If the part rotates freely on an axis, then plugs or rolling bearings are pressed into the hole of the hub. [3]
