Biography
Hrachya Hambartsumovich Mekinyan was born on June 5, 1923 in the city of Alexandropol, Armenian SSR.
Since 1955 he worked as a production designer at the β Armenfilm β film studio.
In 1960 he was accepted into the staff of the Lenfilm film studio. The first independent work in a new place was the painting " Thunderstorm over Belaya " (1968). In the future, most often, he worked with stage director Viktor Tregubovich , as well as directors such as Igor Usov , Vladimir Vainshtok , Sergey Mikaelyan , Tofig Shakhverdiev .
He died in Leningrad in 1986.
