Prince, Nikolai Gustavovich

From the nobles. At the end of the course at the Imperial College of Jurisprudence entered service on May 15, 1854 at the Ministry of Justice. In 1858 he was appointed secretary of the 1st Department of the Governing Senate , and then as a fellow chairman of the Novgorod Chamber of Civil Court. In 1862, he was appointed an editorial member to a commission established by the State Chancellery to draft laws on the transformation of the judicial part. In 1863 he was appointed Simbirsk provincial prosecutor. In 1866 he was transferred to the St. Petersburg provincial prosecutor.

In the same year he was appointed chairman of the Pskov District Court. In 1867 he was transferred to the post of chairman of the Voronezh District Court. In 1870 he was appointed chairman of the department of the Kharkov Judicial Chamber. In 1877, he was appointed to the presence in the civil cassation department of the Governing Senate. In 1892 he was transferred to the combined presence of the 1st and cassation departments, and in 1896 - in the first general meeting (1st and 2nd departments and the Department of Heroldia) of the Senate.
