Geography

The Pando River originates on the heights of the Cucilla Grande in the department of Canelones , two kilometers east of San Batista. It flows from north to south, on the right bank of the city of the same name , in the lower reaches the river separates the resort towns of El Pinar and Neptune. It falls into La Plata .

The river is 28 km long, and its basin covers an area of ​​about 973 km² [1] .
