Content
History
- 1906 - opened as part of the launch site Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Solovyovka. In 1907, in connection with the opening of the Solovyovka- Novik section, the station ceased to be a dead end.
- April 1, 1943 - in connection with the inclusion of South Sakhalin in the internal territories, the station is reassigned to the Ministry of Railways of Japan
- August 1945 - during the Soviet-Japanese war occupied by the Red Army
- February 1, 1946 - de jure expelled from the Japanese railways
- April 1, 1946 - included in the Soviet railways under the name Solovyovka.
Activities
Passenger traffic at the station is periodically canceled. Until 2007 (with interruptions), two pairs of D2 Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Korsakov diesel trains ran, in 2009 - 2011 diesel express No. 121/122 Tomari - Korsakov was extended to Korsakov (from 2011 it was shortened back to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk). This train did not stop in Khristoforovka.
As of July 2015, suburban traffic exists along the route Korsakov (Five Corners) - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk twice a day.
