Biography
Ronan Le Crom is a graduate of Auxerre , for whom he played intermittently from 1993 to 2002. In the 1996/97 season he was leased to Chateauroux and won the French League 2 with him. The next season, Le Crom is again leased by Ligue 2 club, this time by Valence . Returning to Auxerre, for four seasons he was a substitute for Fabien Kohl , he played only three games.
Left Burgundy in 2002, joining the Guingamp . After spending two seasons for the Breton club, he attracted the attention of the head coach of the French national team, Jacques Santini , who included Le Crom among 38 applicants for participation in Euro 2004 [1] .
That same summer, Ronan Le Crom goes to rent at Saint-Etienne before the end of the season , but only as a backup to Jeremy Janot . Le Crom spent just one match for the greens - in the French Cup .
Not having time to return to Guingamp, which still belongs, Ronan Le Crom goes on loan to Troyes , where he receives game practice and becomes the main goalkeeper. Having played all 38 matches in the championship in the 2005/06 season and one in the French Cup and League Cup , Ronan signs a full-fledged contract with a team from the province of Champagne .
The following season, Ronan also constantly enters the field: 35 matches in League 1 and one in the League Cup. But the team leaves for League 2, and Le Crom leaves it on July 3, 2007.
On the same day, he signs a contract with Lance , where he falls into the reserve [2] . Without a single match in the championship and one in the French Cup, Le Crom played five matches in the League Cup. Largely due to the 33-year-old goalkeeper, Lance successfully campaigned in the League Cup and reached the final at the Stade de France , where he lost to PSG. Nevertheless, the new head coach of Lance, Jean-Guy Wallem, does not see Le Crom in the team, and the contract is terminated by mutual agreement.
July 23, 2008, shortly after his 34th birthday, the goalkeeper signs a two-year contract with Grenoble . In the 2008/09 season, he holds six matches (one in the championship and five in the French Cup). Next season he enters the field 19 times (16 of them in the national championship). At the end of the 2009/10 season, his contract was not renewed.
The 36-year-old veteran could find a new club only in December 2010, it became Nancy . The agreement entered into force on January 1, 2011. For this club, Ronan never played a match in any tournament.
In the summer of 2011, Paris Saint-Germain coach Antoine Comboire wants to have three goalkeepers to prepare the team for the new season , and Le Crom joins Nicolas Soul and Alphonse Areola . However, soon PSG buys from “ Palermo ” Salvatore Sirigu as the main goalkeeper, and Le Crom is not offered a contract. In October 2011, Nime Olympic , playing in League 3 , offered Le Crom a contract, but he refused. Between the pre-season training with PSG in July 2011 (and non-signing as a result of the contract) and its signing at the end of January 2012, Ronan was seriously thinking about ending his career and even opened a volleyball and badminton club in his town [3] .
January 12, 2012 Ronan Le Crom signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season, becoming the fourth in the club's goalkeeper hierarchy after Salvatore Sirigou, Nicolas Douche and Alfonso Areola. In the summer of 2012, the agreement with him was extended until June 30, 2013. As a year earlier, Le Crom participated in the pre-season test matches. On July 12, 2012, he entered the second half of the match against Stegersbach from the 3rd Austrian division and helped the Parisians win 9-0.
May 26, 2013 in the last match of the season Le Crom played with Lorient , replacing Areola in the 61st minute. In the 81st minute, he was sent off for a foul of last resort , after which the defender Mamadou Sako took the place in the goal.
Spent his only match for PSG in his hometown - Lorient
