Dusti ( tadzh. Dusti ) is an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of the Jaihun district of the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan . In 1938-1957 the village was called Molotovabad [2] .

Dusti is located in southern Tajikistan near the Afghan border between the Vakhsh and Pyanj rivers. This is the nearest settlement near the Tigrovaya Balka reserve.

Population
The population is estimated at January 1, 2015 is 16,500 people [3] . According to the 2008 census, Dusti had a population of 9,848 people. In 2012, the population was 10,751 people.
Transportation
Dusti is located on the north-south highway E 123 . Dusti Airport ( Kumsangir ).
