Competitions in shooting from an air rifle from 10 meters on a running target among men at the 2004 Summer Olympics were held on August 18 and 19 in Athens at the Markopulo Olympic Shooting Center. 19 athletes from 12 countries took part.

Shooting at a running target from 10 meters for the fourth time is presented in the program of the Olympic Games. The current two-time champion in this form, Chinese Yang Lin did not participate in the competition.

The winner of the world record competitions was the German Manfred Kurzer . At past games, Kürzer reached the final, but took only 6th place there.

Silver and bronze medals were won by representatives of Russia Alexander Blinov and Dmitry Lykin .
