It is part of the Zhodishkovsky village council [3] .
Located in the northern part of the district on the right bank of the Viliya river. The distance to the Smorgon district center along the road is about 22.5 km, to the center of the village council of the agricultural town Zhodishki in a straight line - 3.5 km. The nearest settlements are Kozyarniki , Kopachi , Mel [4] .
The name suggests that the settlement was founded near a melt - a reservoir with an overgrown surface, or near a place where the plunders grow [5] .
According to the census, the population of Plavushki in 1999 totaled 1 resident [6] .
