The leitmotif of his works was the original Malagasy culture, the philosophy of life of the Malagasy, their language and speech. When Rakhadzarizafi was hardly over 20 years old, he began to compose a book about the life, wisdom and exploits of King Andrianampuyinimerina.

In the book Malagasy Proverbs (Malag. Ny ohabolana malagasy), Rahadzarizafi reveals how his ancestors perceived the world around them; coexisted peacefully with other living beings and nature. The author sets forth these ideas in the book “Philosophy of the Malagasy: the soul is the essence of man” (Malag. Filozofia malagasy: ny fanahy no olona).
