It is located on the left bank of the Sinaya River, 33 km south of the city of Ostrov , 16 km southwest of the volost center, the village of Hooks and 14 km southwest of the village of Gorai .

The population of the village as of 2000 was 1 person. [one]

Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Sineretsky volost with its center in the village of Grivy .
