It is located on the right bank of the Versha River, 31 km south of the city of Ostrov and 6 km southwest of the volost center, the village of Hooks .
As of 2000, there was no permanent population in the village. [one]
Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Sineretsky volost with its center in the village of Grivy .
