Located on the right bank of the Sinaya River, 29 km south of the city of Ostrov and 10 km south-west of the volost center, the village of Hooks .

The population of the village as of 2000 was 4 people. [one]

Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Sineretsky volost with its center in the village of Grivy .
