Located on the left bank of the Blue River, 31 km south of the city of Ostrov and 4 km south of the village of Griva .
As of 2000, there was no permanent population in the village. [one]
Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now-abolished Sineretskaya volost with its center in the village of Griva .
