Biography

Born on January 19, 1965 in the city of Chistopol, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .

He graduated from the Togliatti Polytechnic Institute , in which he met his future wife Irina Fedorova and Igor Kasilov , with whom he performed on the student stage of the institute. Sergey Chvanov’s student nickname was “Chan” [1] .

Sergei Chvanov worked in the Deficit duo at the local pop theater.

In the early 1990s, in a duet with Igor Kasilov, they conducted a comedy program "Dessert" on the LIK channel in Tolyatti , starred in Igor Ugolnikov ’s program, “ Oba! ", Once a month they flew to Moscow to shoot. The entertainer worked for various celebrities [1] .

Working on Samara television, Kasilov and Chvanov created the duet “ New Russian Grandmas ”. The local popularity of "grandmother" was achieved on the air of the Togliatti radio station "August" . At first, the duo twisted small screensavers in the form of granny's dialogs, and a few months later it went live . At the peak of their popularity, the video cassette “150 Mule from Grannies” appeared [1] .

Matryona (Sergey Chvanov) and Tsvetochok (Igor Kasilov) very quickly filled all the humorous programs of Russian television - Anschlag , Smehopanorama , Curved Mirror , Joke for a Joke , etc.

In 1999, they performed in the Cup of Humor of Evgeny Petrosyan ; laureates of the same competition - Yuri Galtsev and Andrey Danilko . Then the first recital of “grandmas” took place at the Moscow State Variety Theater [1] .

Together with Igor Kasilov, he moved to Moscow . He worked at the Moscow Theater of Variety Miniatures after Yevgeny Petrosyan, and appeared on the TV show Curved Mirror . In 2009, together with Igor Kasilov, he left the Crooked Mirror [1] . The joint duet of Igor Kasilov and Sergey Chvanov, “ New Russian Grandmothers, ” broadcast the program “ Saturday Night ” on the Russia-1 channel [2] .

From June to July 2015, they hosted the new entertaining comedy show " Vesyolaya Street " on the Russia-1 channel [3] .

He is the founder and project manager of the respectable holiday complex of the Vremena Goda villa , located on the banks of the Volga River in the village of Solnechnaya Polyana, Samara Region [4] [5] .

At some concerts, together with Kasilov, he sings songs with a guitar.
