Jan Wilant ( naderl. Jan Vaillant ), whose last name is erroneously translated into French by Wayan or Vaillant ( 1624 [1] , Reisel - 1668 , Hanau ) - a Flemish painter and engraver of the golden age of Dutch painting; younger brother Vallerant Vaylanta .

One of five brothers artists; the apprentice of the eldest is Wallerant . Born in Reysel in 1624, he was engaged in painting with some success, but he married in Frankfurt and devoted himself to trade.
