To Mega Therion (from Greek “The Greatest Beast”) is the second album of the Swiss group Celtic Frost , recorded in 1985. Like the first album, he had a strong influence on the formation of such extreme metal genres as death metal and black metal . The cover for the album was a picture of the famous artist from Switzerland and friend Tom Warrior Hans Rudi Giger - "Satan I". The Swedish Symphonic Metal Band Therion takes its name from this album.
