Robinson was successful in the early 2000s on British television, and in 2006 began working in the United States, filming episodes of the series Anatomy of Passion , Private Practice , Great Love , and Dead Demand . In 2009, she signed a contract with ABC Studios and soon filmed a pilot episode of the smashing success of critics of the series " It Happens and Worse " [2] .
In 2010, Robinson shot her debut feature film, The Last Song , and in 2012 released the next picture, A Very Dangerous Thing . Regularly working on television, Robinson also directed the series Datura , Two Grounded Girls , Suburbs , How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life , Selfies and Scandal . In 2015, she teamed up with Shonda Rimes to create the series Smoke and Mirrors [3] .
