Located 24 km southwest of the center of Ostrov and 4 km northwest of the village of Dubki . The railway Pskov - Ostrov - Pytalovo passes through the village: the Goltsevo (Golenevo) railway station is located northeast. [1] [2]
As of 2000, there was no permanent population in the village [3] .
Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Rubilov volost with its center in the village of Dubki .
