Geography
QS is located in the northern part of the Sarpinsky district within the Ergeninsky Upland. Korobkinsky SMO borders:
- in the east - with the Sadovsky SMO ;
- in the south - with Umantsevsky QS ;
- in the west - with Sharnutovsky QS ;
- in the north - with the Oktyabrsky district of the Volgograd region ;
- in the northeast - with the Maloderbetovsky district ( Tundutovsky SMO ).

The population of QS (as of January 1, 2012 ) is 328 people. The population density in the QS is 2.1 people / km². National composition: Russians - 46.9%, Kalmyks - 43.3%, other nationalities - 9.8%. [1] .
Economics
The main branch of the economy is agriculture . The leading agricultural enterprise in the SMO is Terra LLC, specializing in animal husbandry (main profile) and crop production . In addition, 3 peasant farms conduct economic activity (agricultural production) with a specialization in animal husbandry (mainly) and crop production in QS [1] .
