Biography
Pupil of the Narva sports school "Energy" [1] . For many years she was the leader of the Estonian biathlon women's team. At the World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway in 1992, she took 5th place in the individual race. This result is the highest for Estonian biathletes. Moreover, if she had not made two misses at the last shooting, the athlete would have won the race. After completing her career, the biathlete began working as a senior commissioner of the internal control bureau of the Police and Border Guard Board. Polyakova-Vshivtseva also takes part among veterans in bicycle and ski marathons [2] .
Family
Married to biathlon coach Vyacheslav Yevgenievich Vshivtsev, whom she helps in her work. Raises two sons.
