Gameplay

In Iron Front: Liberation 1944, the action takes place during the summer offensive of Soviet troops on Southeast Poland . The campaign can be played for both Soviet and German troops. The Soviet campaign focuses on breaking through enemy defenses. The objective of the German campaign is to slow down the advance of Soviet troops. The campaign begins with infantry actions, but then the player gets the opportunity to control tanks and planes. Such as the Panzerkampfwagen IV , KΓΆnigstiger , IS-2 , Focke Wulf 190 , Stuka , Pe-2 and P-39 .

The multiplayer game includes cooperative missions , as well as modes such as Capture the Flag, Team Battle, Attack and Defense, and Blitzkrieg.

The game also includes an extensive mission editor, allowing players to create their own missions and share them online. Modifications in Iron Front: Liberation 1944 are limited compared to the ArmA 2 game. Modifications can be released only with the consent of the developers, both free and paid .
