Mikhail Mikhailovich Koribut Vishnevetsky (d. 1615 ) - a large Lithuanian-Russian prince-tycoon, elder Ovrutsky ( 1603 - 1615 ), son of Prince Mikhail Alexandrovich Vishnevetsky ( 1529 - 1584 ), elders of Kanevsky and Cherkassky ( 1559 - 1580 ), Lyubetsky and Loevsky (1584), Chestnut Bratslavsky (1580-1581) and Kiev (1581-1584), and Elzhbety Yurievna Zenovich. Biography

The princes Vishnevetsky , a branch of the princes Zbarazhsky , were descended from the prince of Novgorod-Seversky, Zbarazh , Bratslav and Vinnytsia Dmitry-Koribut Olgerdovich (d. After 1404 ), the son of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Olgerd Gediminovich ( 1345 - 1377 ) from the second marriage with Uverna Ulnya . The great-grandson of Dmitry-Koribut , Prince Vasily Vasilyevich Zbarazhsky, had a son, Mikhail, who received the Vishnevets castle and became the ancestor of the Vishnevets family.

In 1594, after the death of his childless older brother, Prince Alexander Mikhailovich Vishnevetsky , Mikhail Koribut inherited his vast possessions in Left-Bank Ukraine with a capital in Lubny . In 1603 he received the ownership of the Ovrutsky elder . Michael expanded his residence - Lubny , founded the Gustinsky and Ladinsky Orthodox monasteries.

Together with his relatives, the princes Adam Aleksandrovich and Konstantin Konstantinovich Vishnevecki, Mikhail Koribut actively supported False Dmitry I and allowed the use of the Lubny to collect and recruit troops for the campaign to Moscow .

In 1607, the elder, the Prince of Ovrut, Mikhail Mikhailovich Koribut Vishnevetsky, together with Stefan Potocki and Prince Samuel Koretsky, organized a magnate campaign in Moldova . Mikhail Vishnevetsky was married to Rain Mogilyanka ( 1589 - 1619 ), daughter of the reign of Moldavia Jeremiah the Grave ( 1595 - 1606 ). The daughters of Jeremiah Graves , Maria Amalia and Catherine, were married to the head elder Podolsky Stefan Pototsky and Prince Samuel Koretsky .
