Biography
The pupil of sports school of Olympic reserve CSKA Moscow, he said after its completion has accepted the invitation of the Saratov team "Crystal".

On the recommendation of the Crystal coaches in the fall of 1982, Ageikin was included in the youth team of the USSR and won a gold medal at the 20-year-old world championships in Leningrad.
On the eve of the season 1985/86, Sergei Ageikin was invited to command the highest 'Spartacus' League and the national team of the USSR. At the 1986 World Cup he won the gold medal.
He spent 229 matches in the USSR championships, scored 68 goals, played for the Kristall clubs (Saratov) in 1981-1985, Spartak in Moscow in 1985-1989 and Vityaz (Podolsk) in 1999-2000. . In the 1990s, he advocated a different Europe.
He died of leukemia (blood cancer) in 2001. He was buried in Moscow at the Vostryakovsky cemetery.
