Career

He began his career at Iraklis, and in 2001 was sold to Arsenal at the age of 21 for 1 million pounds. He was never a player on the first team and spent 1 year on loan at Portsmouth. He played eight matches for Arsenal. The Premier League debut took place in the 2002/03 season against Southampton. [1] In early 2004, he was leased to Lille.

On April 29, he was sold from Arsenal to Lille, signing a four-year contract with him. For “Lille” managed to play in 12 games.

Despite the fact that he had offers from League 1 clubs, in particular from Bordeaux, Marseille and Monaco, Tavlaridis signed a three-year contract with Saint-Etienne for € 2.5 million. Tavlaridis was transferred number 4. Tavlaridis made his debut against his former Lille club. Tavlaridis had a great start in the 2007/08 season, scoring his first goal for St Etienne. Tavlaridis was later appointed club captain, manager Alain Perrin after the first match of the 2009/10 season. Tavlaridis played 69 matches in League 1 and scored twice.

On April 30, 2010, Larisa announced that he had joined the club for free when his contract with Saint-Etienne expired. He returned to Greece after a career in England and France.
