Middle Fork Flathead River ( Eng. Middle Fork Flathead River ) - a river in the north-west of Montana , USA . The length is about 148 km [2] ; the area of the pool is 3004 km². One of the three components of the Flathead River, which is a tributary of the Clark Fork River ( Columbia River Basin).

It originates as the confluence of the rivers Strobury Creek and Bowl Creek [3] . It flows mainly in the north-west and north directions. The river basin lies east of the South Fork Flathead catchment. Forms the southwestern border of the Glacier National Park. It merges with the North Fork Flathead River , forming the actual river called Flathead .
