Elizabeth Hubbard ( born Elizabeth Hubbard , born December 22, 1933 ) is an American actress, best known for her roles in a variety of daytime soap operas [1] .

Hubbard starred in the soap operas “ Guiding Light ”, “ On the Edge of Night ” and “ One Life to Live ”, but achieved the greatest fame by “Doctors” and “ How the World Turns ” in which it has been filmed for decades. She received a daily Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Day Drama in 1974 for The Doctor and two years later for her role in the television film The First Lady's Diary: Edith Wilson. She was also nominated eight times for a prize for her role in “How the World Turns” [2] . She became the first American to receive a silver medal at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London [1] . In addition to working in soap operas, Hubbard appeared on the Broadway stage and appeared in the movies “ Under the Glass Cover ”, “ Ordinary People ” and “Proscene”.
