Krisna (lat.) Is a genus of jumping cicadas ( Cicadellidae ) from the subfamily Iassinae (tribe Krisnini ) ^[2] .

Description

Relatively large cicadas (length about 1 cm), from green to reddish-brown. Antenna keels are transverse. The edge of the cheek under the eyes is pressed to the body. The head has a lot of pronotum . The scutellum is the same length or larger than the pronotum. Macrosetal formula of the hips is 2 + 2 + 1 ^[2] .

Systematics

About 30 species: 12 - in China, 8 - in India, part of the species are represented in Southeast Asia, Australia and the New World ^[3] ^[4] .
