Located on the Mtezh Peninsula, which separates the Teploe and Pskov Lakes, 93 km north-west of Pskov and 40 km west of the village of Seryodka . To the north is the village Osatno , to the south - the village Mtezh .
The population of the village of Kuroksha as of 2000 was 11 people. [one]
Until February 28, 2005, the village was part of the now-abolished Terebischensky volost .
