History
Until 1916, the name "Maslohostitsy" was the name of the modern village of Seredka . During the existence of the Pskov - Gdov railway (until 1944), the village had the same-name Maslogostitsy railway station, which was located in the middle between the Yamm and Pskov stations. The entrenched name "Seryodka" was officially assigned to the village on July 16, 1916, and the station retained and adopted the old name "Maslohostitsy", after 1944 turning from the station into a village. Until January 1, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Verkholinsky volost .
Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Sidorovich was born in the village.
