Childhood and Career

Saskia Porto was born on October 31, 1984 in Timbauba , Pernambuco, Brazil. She is the daughter of a famous Brazilian professor of economics, a former friend of President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva [1] . She spent her childhood in Campina Grande , played volleyball and danced. At the age of 15 she participated in a local beauty contest. Emigrated to the United States in the summer of 2001 and the following year won the coveted Miss Brazil USA title. Saskia entered the marketing department at Boston University, but after several months decided to drop out of school in order to try her luck as a model in New York [2] .

Since the start of her modeling career, Saskia Porto has been the face of brands such as Toyota and Canon , and has advertised Jieun Play swimwear and underwear. Since November 2008, Porto signed an exclusive contract with Rene Rofe, a fashion designer of elite underwear, she became a representative of the company. At the same time, she continues to collaborate with brands such as Pepsi or Pantene.

Playboy

Saskia Porto is one of the few supermodels who agree to become the girl of the month of Playboy magazine, as a rule they become little-known models.

In an interview [3] with Hype Inc, Saskia talked about her meeting with the editor of Playboy magazine in New York looking for material for her Fashion and Style column.

The head of the New York department advised Saskia to qualify for the magazine on the same day. Saskia arrives in Los Angeles, where she meets with Hugh Hefner [4] who signs a contract with her. Saskia Porto never explained the reasons that led her to decide to accept this proposal.
