Hatpet Region on a Titan map
Hetpet ( English Hetpet Regio ) - a vast area located on the surface of the largest satellite of Saturn - Titan , at coordinates . [1] Located between the areas of Senkao and Belet . The term region (region) is understood as a vast low-lying territory, which differs in color and albedo from adjacent regions.
The maximum size of the structure is 1080 km. [1] The Hatpet region was discovered on radar images of the Cassini spacecraft (during a standard flight near Titan ). The name received approval in 2012. [one]
Named after Hatpet , Egyptian women personifying happiness. [one]
