Vladimir Andreevich Chepelik (born October 17, 1945 , Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Ukrainian sculptor . People's Artist of Ukraine ( 1992 ). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine ( 2000 ).

Biography
Born October 17, 1945 in Kiev (now Ukraine ). He graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute in 1972. In the years 1972-1975 at the creative work. In 1975, he began teaching activities at the Kiev State Pedagogical Institute. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR ( 1977 ). Professor of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture ( 1991 ). Chairman of the NSHU (1990).
