It was located 3 miles west of the modern village of Naviny at the source of the river Trakhotinka . At the pond, which is still preserved.
History
The village is indicated on the plans created in 1780-1790, under the name Ivanovka Trakhotinka [1] .
The lists of 1859 are already just Ivanovka , it has 8 yards and 79 residents [2] .
At the end of the XIX, beginning of the XX century it was part of the Poluevsky volost of the Roslavl district [3] .
In 1926 there were 32 yards in the village [4] .
According to the directory of the administrative-territorial division of the Smolensk region, Ivanovka was on the lists only until 1971 [3] .
In 1993, it was listed as a settlement that ceased to exist [5] .
