About the album
The album consists of more than half of cover versions, four songs are copyright. Organizer Merle Sanders was invited to record Bertha, Playing in the Band, and Wharf Rat. The song "Playing in the Band" hit the radio, and later became one of the most popular songs that the group performed during concerts. The cover authors are Kelly Alton and Stanley Mouse. The basis was taken an illustration of Edmund Sullivan, made by him for a collection of poetry by Omar Khayyam in the early XX century.
