Biography
In 1967 he entered and in 1973 graduated from Yerevan State University . From 1972 to 1974 - graduate student of Yerevan State University. From 1976 he worked at the Polytechnic Institute of the city of Chita , where he studied geophysics for Siberia and the Far East. In 1987 he defended his doctoral dissertation in Moscow. Since 1987 - professor. From 1991 to 2002 he headed the National Seismic Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia created by him, at the same time he was a professor at Yerevan State University. From 1998 to 2004, he was President of the Armenian Association of Seismology and Physics of the Earth (AASPZ).
On November 19, 2004, on the Gyumri - Yerevan road, I got into a car accident and a few days later died from his injuries in a hospital in Yerevan.
Scientific contribution
He is the author of about one hundred and eighty scientific papers, ten inventions and three monographs.
