Located on the banks of the river Dubina , 8 km south-east of the southern border of Pskov and the village of Cherekha .
History
The village of Plaksino was removed from the register by the decision of the Pskov Regional Executive Committee No. 41 dated February 7, 1977, by merging with the village of Mazilino [2] . Then Plaksino not having the status of a settlement was considered as a village, since 2005, in accordance with the regional law "On the establishment of boundaries and the status of newly formed municipal formations in the Pskov region" as part of the Yadrovsky volost [3] . By the law of the Pskov region dated December 29, 2014 No. 1478-OZ, the mention of the village of Plaksino in the law of the Pskov region “On the establishment of borders and the status of newly formed municipal formations on the territory of the Pskov region” was excluded. The village of Plaksino was actually included in the village of Mazilino [4] .
