Benjamin Istanbul ( Fr. Benjamin Stambouli ; born August 13, 1990 , Marseille , France ) - French footballer , midfielder of the Gelsenkirchen club Schalke 04 . The son of a French-Algerian footballer of Turkish descent Henri Istanbul ^[2] .

Career

On March 3, 2010, Istanbul signed a contract with the Montpellier club, and on August 8 of the same year made its debut in a match against Bordeaux . In addition to club games, Benjamin also played for the youth team of France .
