Biography

Born February 16, 1923 in Warsaw in a family of musicians.

When the Germans captured Poland, they left for the Soviet Union . In Moscow, he continued his musical education and graduated from the Moscow Conservatory . Among his teachers was Nikolai Ivanovich Speransky ( 1877 - 1952 ).

During the years of the Great Patriotic War, the young singer, while still a student at the conservatory, participated in front-line concerts.

He sang at the Bolshoi Theater and at the All-Union Radio. He worked at the Moscow State Philharmonic. His voice sounded in such films as “The Quiet Don ”, “ Russian Souvenir ”, “ Carnival Night ”, “ Last Inch ”, in the cartoon “ The Most, Most, Most, Most ” [3] , and it is his voice that Moidodyr sings the same cartoon [2] .

Died October 21, 1983 in Moscow. Buried at Kuntsevo cemetery (section 8). The inscription on the gravestone: Miczislaw Ryba [4] .

Son - Mikhail Mikhailovich Fish - pianist, winner of international competitions in Portugal and Italy, lives and works in Moscow.

Memory

  • On May 5, 2012, the Museum named after N. G. Rubinstein designed the exhibition “Mikhail Pavlovich Fish - to the 90th anniversary of his birth” [5] .
