It is located on the left bank of the Cheryokha River, 9 km southeast of the village of Karamyshevo and 40 km southeast of the center of Pskov .
The population of the village as of 2000 was 7 people [1] .
Until January 1, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Osinovichi volost.
