Species of the genus Ledothamnus are endemic to southern Venezuela [5] .
Biological Description
Shrubs and shrubs of small size [5] . The bark is thin [5] .
Leaves are opposite, petiolate [5] .
Inflorescence with single, apical or axillary flowers ; stamens are usually as many as petals [5] .
Fruit - a box , from oblong to ovoid, brown; seeds are few, about 0.8 mm in length [5] .
