Biography

Comes from a noble family of Bornovolokov . Mother Anna Vasilievna belonged to the Molchanov family. Wife - Maria Sergeyevna, daughter of a collector of church antiquities, compiler of the dictionary of Russian saints Sergei Petrovich Sokovnin . One of the daughters of Tertia Bornovolokov Tatyana was married to the navigator Andrei Ilyich Khlebnikov [2] [3] , a participant in the Golovnin incident in 1811-1813. and was an inspector of the Institute for the Deaf in St. Petersburg.

A. A. Baranov repeatedly appealed to the Main Board of the RAC with a request to replace him as ruler. Collegiate assessor Koch, who was sent to him as a deputy, died in Petropavlovsk on January 25, 1811. T. S. Bornovolokov was appointed Baranov's deputy, but in January 1813, the Neva ship sank, near which he died. Only in 1818, A. A. Baranov was replaced by Lieutenant S. M. Yanovsky during a visit to Novo-Arkhangelsk by the Kutuzov ship [4] .

Doom

On the rocky coast at the western foot of the Edgecomb volcano in January 1813, the ship Neva of the Russian-American company crashed on its way to Novo-Arkhangelsk . Of the 124 people on board (49 crew members, 15 employees, 56 industrialists and 4 women and daughters), only 25 were saved, who were captured by the Tlingits on the shore. Two crew members managed to escape from captivity and get to Novo-Arkhangelsk, from where Alexander Baranov sent an armed detachment. As a result, the number of those who survived and reached their destination was 6 people [5] . Tertiy Bornovolokov survived the crash; he was seen alive in the water, but died from being hit by waves on the rocks.

In 1813, at the time of his death, Tertiy Bornovolokov owned 30 male souls in the Noskovo Buisky Uyezd estate, 30 souls in the village of Pavlygino Makaryevsky Uyezd, and 33 souls in the Kistega estate of the Galich Uyezd .

Proceedings

  • The exposed Voltaire (1792). The translation is dedicated to Nikolai Durnovo [6] , one copy was donated by the author to the priest of the village of Zakharyino (Theological in Zakharyin) of Danilovsky Uyezd, Alexei Nikolsky.
  • A paternal gift for his daughter when she came into the world (1808) and the advice of a seventy-year-old grandmother and grandson (1809). The first edition communicated the most important rules of "social life" and the Christian religion; in the second (he served as a continuation of the first) this plot developed in detail. Particularly thoroughly characterized were the "general and most necessary rules of domination of people" (that is, serfs). According to Bornovolokov, "the people who are subjects to us are kept within their responsibilities and are forced to perform their posts not by cruelty and tyranny, but rather by condescension, favor and, in the most extreme cases, prudent and compassion-driven severity." In support of this rather moderate point of view, expressive sketches of the landlord life were given, which constituted a kind of “fiction section” of this didactic treatise.
