Career

Club

He started playing football at Callon from Freetown , with whom he signed his first professional contract in 2010. May 11, 2011 scored his first goal in the national championship . In the 30th minute of the home match with Area Best , Camara opened the scoring in a match in which his team eventually defeated an opponent 3-0 [3] . Two weeks later, the ball he scored became victorious again. This time he managed to excel in an away meeting with Nepin Stars [1] . In the final table of the championship " Callon " took second place.

In the summer of 2011, on the advice of his agent, Alhassan went on loan to Buden , representing the Swedish First Division. On August 14, he made his debut in the starting lineup of his new club. But throughout the match, the Sierra Leonez was not marked, and in the 77th minute he was replaced by Axel Landstrom [4] . And in the next game, Camara scored double. First, at the 49th minute, he doubled the advantage of his team, and after 6 minutes he brought the score to a large one [5] . In total, he has 10 games in which he managed to hit the opponent’s goal five times.

In the fall, the game of the young striker attracted the attention of several large clubs. Arsenal and Hull City , as well as three clubs from Sweden showed interest in his person: AIK , Djurgarden and Orebro [6] . In the last two, he went to see, and to the transition to the London team, Camara, according to him, was very close, but in the end decided to continue his career at AIK . In many ways, his decision was facilitated by the opinion of the club of his compatriots Mohamed and Ibrahim Bangura [7] . The debut of the African striker in Allsvenskan took place in the first round of the new championship. Ten minutes before the end of the match, the head coach of the capital's team Andreas Alm , released him instead of Martin Mutumba [8] . Having played 11 matches in the first half of the championship, Alhassan did not score a single goal, so the club management decided to rent it to Orebro [9] .

Already 3 days after the transition, Alhassan entered the starting lineup of the new club for the match against Djurgården , and in the next round he scored his first goal in the Swedish championships . At the 52nd minute of the meeting, he hit the gate of “ Squid ”, which helped his team win [10] . At the end of the season, Örebro took the penultimate place in the standings and flew to Superettan , and the Sierra Leone striker returned to the AIK at the end of the lease term.

In July 2016 he moved from Örebro to Hekken . On August 7, in the match of the Swedish championship against Elfsborg, he scored his first goal as part of a new team. In a duel of the 21st round against Efle , Alhassan scored a double, and the meeting ended with the score 2: 2. Already in the next game, the striker scored a goal in a derby against Gothenburg , allowing his team to snatch a draw - 2: 2. Also, the goal of Kamara helped the “wasps” defeat “ Hammarby ” with a score of 3: 2 in the game of the 23rd round of Allsvenskan . Thus, the scoring series of the striker amounted to three matches. A series of productive matches of “Crespo” could have lasted, but in a duel against “Sundsvall” he was “lucky” to hit the goalposts three times in one attack. The account in that game was never opened. In the remaining meetings of the season, Camara failed to distinguish themselves by productive actions.

In national teams

Sierra Leone's national team head coach Lars-Olof Mattsson first challenged Alhassan Kamar in May 2012 to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers . On June 2, in the first of the planned games, Alhassan made his debut in the national team. He went on to the match against Cape Verde in the starting lineup and managed to score a difference in the 13th minute, however, his goal was canceled due to an offside position [11] . In September of that year, he still scored his first goal for the national team. In a home game with Tunisia, Camara led his team forward, however, in the next attack, the Sierra Leons missed. As a result, the game ended in a productive draw 2: 2 [12] .
