History
It was created as a saddlery and raw materials factory in 1938 on the basis of small-scale leather production, nationalized in 1919. In 1942, the evacuated Kremenchug saddlery entered it. During the years of World War II , the plant produced military wagon gear for the front. It has a modern name since 1957. After the war, reconstruction of existing and construction of new production facilities was carried out. The installation of high-performance equipment made it possible to commission the first phase of the plant, and in 1962 another building was put into operation, which housed the finishing, sheepskin, furrier and tailoring workshops. [1] It makes clothes, hats, and also collars for sewing production from fur raw materials: sheepskin , astrakhan fur, muskrat , , rabbit and others, which is processed here. Mats and scarves are produced from the waste of sheepskin and a mink flap. In 1982, more than 83 million rubles worth of products were produced, including 36.2% with the State Quality Mark .
