History
Construction on the territory of Own summer cottage, the Own Prospect now reaches, began approximately in 1727 after the throne was occupied by Peter II [3] .
Own avenue got its name in 1852 from Own summer cottage.
In the 1920s, the avenue was renamed Krasnoarmeysky Avenue. At that time, units of the Red Army were stationed in the former barracks of the Life Guard Dragoon Regiment .
On September 1, 1993, the decision of the Small Council of the St. Petersburg City Council of People's Deputies returned to Prospect the historical name of Own Prospect [4] .
