The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia ( Abh. Asҧsna adәnҟҟatәi ausқәa rministerr ) is a government body in the Republic of Abkhazia that provides security and economic development of the country, achieving international recognition of the Republic of Abkhazia, attracting international investments and new technologies, protecting the rights of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia abroad.

History
The Ministry was established on May 17, 1993 at the height of the Georgian-Abkhaz war . In the conditions of isolation, economic embargo and constant threat of war from Georgia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia carried out foreign policy activities, thanks to the dedicated work of Abkhaz diplomats.
Constant cooperation with representatives of the oldest and most influential diplomatic schools - Russia, USA, UK, France, Germany, constant interaction with international organizations - UN , OSCE , EU and other participants of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict settlement process had a significant impact on the formation of Abkhaz diplomacy.
