It was located 3 kilometers south of the modern village of New Rudnya on the left bank of the Duhovaya River.
History
Masons are marked on the map of Smolensk province in 1773 [1] .
In 1859, Kamenshchina was considered a village man. It has 14 courtyards and 147 inhabitants [2] .
It is also marked on the map of 1926 with a note that it has 40 yards [3] .
In 1978, the village was part of the Novo-Rudnyansky village council of Khislavichi district [4] .
However, on the latest topographic maps, only the Kamenshchina tract is indicated on the site of the village. Currently (2012), the village of Kamenshchina is not on the list of settlements.
