History
Act 1 is the first live album by Finnish singer, former Nightwish singer , Tarja Turunen. Two concerts were recorded by ten HD cameras at the El Círculo Theater In Rosario , Argentina , in March 2012. Tarja performed different songs from her three albums, one of the most famous Nightwish songs - “ Nemo ” and Andrew Lloyd Webber's cover songs, Gary Moore and Whitesnake [2] .
On July 10th, Earmusic released the first official teaser for Act I.

The record received good critics feedback. The Get Read To Rock review wrote like this: “This live CD will definitely please its fans, [...] epic metal in combination with pop and classic has not sounded so good yet” [4] .
Ent Mei from Planetmosh praised the technical issues, saying that "the lighting is incredible, with a lot of colors and light effects, plus lasers are used, and everything as a whole creates a great picture." He also called the sound "impeccable" and "crystal clear" [11]
In her review of Firebrand Media, Lee Walker said that “Tarja once again proved that she was“ walking alone ”, 7 long years have passed since she separated from her previous group , and all this time she continues to prove that she is a successful performer. Act I successfully transmitted all the magic of her live performances. ” [10]
