Li Xing ( Chinese 李 行 , Pinyin : Lǐ Xíng , born May 20, 1930, Shanghai ) is a Taiwanese film director. Despite not speaking the Taiwanese Chinese dialect , Lee made some films on it.

Biography
Born in Shanghai. At 18, he emigrated to Taiwan during the Civil War . While studying in college, he played roles in the student theater. Then he worked as a journalist in his father's newspaper. He starred in the film, in which he assisted the director. The first comedy film "Ong Ko and Liu Ko" achieved box office success. He produces both his own cinema and shoots for large companies. His films are marked by realism. Opens the Hong Kong market with the film “Silent Wife” based on the work of Qiong Yao . His subsequent works are connected with the “three rooms” genre, where heroes, in search of love, move from living rooms to living rooms and cafes. 1983 was a turning year, his film was inferior in fees to the film by the young director Hou Xiaosian , Sandwich Man . In 1987, he signed a petition with 50 artists, which stated that "senior directors as I understood it was the moment when we passed the baton." [one]
