Located 25 km southwest of the city of Opochka , by the river Vet . To the west are the villages of Ladygino and Karpovo .

The population as of 2000 was 68 residents [1] , for 2012 - 51 residents.

Until 2006, it was part of the now abolished Ladyginsky volost .
